Friday at lunch time, we discovered a bird's nest in the scheffelera on the front porch.
If you look closely, you will see white ribbon dangling from the nest. That evening the temperature was going to be in the thirties, the plant was moved back inside the house.
Being over thirty, the plant has held several interesting things. In 1976, it held a ghost as it shimmered down the steps of the house in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
Amazing how in one morning, the birds built a nest. We are going to watch the plant closely in the next few weeks.
