Hope
A box arrived early this week. A box filled with flower bulbs. The early afternoon was an incredible sunny sweater weather kinda day.
I opened the bulbs and began planting. There are about 20 crocus around the bunny area. Further down were double daffodils, small daffodils, and parrot tulips. They remind me of an Italian painting. Also were six large pink lilies. They were planted in two separate areas. A friend had given me daffodil bulbs in early summer. We kept them in a cool dry place. Into the ground they went as well.
I always offer thankfulness as I plant the bulbs. Hope is a flower bulb filled with life needing a hand to be placed into the warm earth.
Taking root, creating nature's bounty in the spring.
Happy Thanksgiving.
