I read how an artist had dyed silk ribbons in Easter Egg dye. Last year I purchased some dye on clearance after Easter.
I found the dye. I mixed the dye in five ounces of warm water. I crunched the silk white ribbon with rubber bands. Then I placed the silk ribbon in the dye cup. I moved the ribbon into the red dye bath for less than a minute to get the verigated colors. The ribbon turned out very nicely. I put a silver finding on the ribbon to use as a cord for this fused glass pendant.
