Saturday, my daughter, her daughter, and I went to the Health Adventure where we explored their Alice in Wonderland hands on exhibit. Upon entering the building, this incredible butterfly mobile softly dances above your head. I wondered how many people go by and never even look up to see the butterflies. Exiting the building, Maggie had just noticed the butterflies. An eight year old who had just left the scholastic art exhibit with thoughts in her head, glanced upwards. She stopped and looked. Making lots of conversation about the butterflies completely oblivious that I had taken pictures. I guess we all have our own way of seeing what is in front of us as well as above us.
