Snow

We woke to snow, snow and a little bit more of snow. This is the bird bath with a layer of snow.

The deck chairs and table seem to be holding a snowy conversation.

The mountains are layered here and just a mile or so down the road in town, there was only about an inch. Measuring the snow this morning on the deck, it was eight inches. Just right for a nine year old and her ten year old friend to sled, make snow angels, and build
snow buildings. They could also walk to visit each other.
A good recipe for home made cocoa according to Maggie.
2 Tablespoons cocoa
2 Tablespoons sugar
a little salt
Mix together in a mug.
Heat 1 - 2 cups of milk.
I used the microwave.
Mix the two with 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla.
Add marshmallows.
It is very rich and add milk according to your chocolate preferences.
