With the silver grey colors of winter, I have been drawn to variety of colors of jasper. Doing a bit of gemstone research, I found that tigers eye and jasper are very complementary. I added a dragonfly charm to a large tigers eye nugget to create one of the two necklaces in the photo. The lighter color has not just jasper but moonstone which seems to glow. The creamy soft white color is like the silver of the winter sky.
The clouds were so thick this morning. The steel silver grey blue of them against the blazing white of the sun caught my breath. Right after I took this photo, the sun burst out from the clouds. Pushing all the clouds aside to blaze. Going to be a nice winter's day.
Oh I LOVE the copper dragonfly necklace, Carol - the colours are so earthy and I feel very drawn to them. Red Jasper has been popping into my mind a lot recently, so I guess it's no surprise I have fallen head over heels in love with your latest creations! x
