At the farmost point on the island is a lighthouse. If you walk along the path, you are caught between wild roses, wild flowers, berry shrubs, as you walk upon a narrow dirt path. The first time we walked along this cliffside path, deer prints were embedded into the soft mud. It was around 8:00 p.m. or so when this picture was taken. The sun enjoys lightening this island. She stays until late and rises early.
I have just finished reading To The Lighthouse by Virginia Wolfe. So I really enjoyed you talking about going to the lighthouse. Beautiful picture.
