This evening as we walked around our mountain yard, we noticed the early white crocus had gone. Near them were yellow primroses and a ruffled white poppy. As we walked up the mountainside, the grape hyacinths had returned. From the road cascading downward are dozens of grape hyacinths. The wild daisies are unfurling their fuzzy leaves. Daffodils and tulips still holding up their colorful heads.
