mid morning fall day

A little bit of the patch work color of the mountains from the view of the back yard. The sun has shone today with such intensity that the colors of the leaves seem to glow. Coming home from storytelling, I actually stopped on the curve of the mountain road to take in all the color. With a bit of rain, the leaves will fall rapidly to the ground.
Amazing to watch nature's paintbrush.
