Honeymoon Island, Florida

Mid afternoon, we walked the osprey trail. I have never seen or heard as many ospreys. There were nests filled with fledgings. Adults feeding. Adults mating. Adults making nests. We walked for several hours. Along trails heavy with mangroves, palms, and evergreens.

Beyond the mangroves, I ventured to the edge and found this delightful view.

My brother and I had a about fifteen minutes at the beach before the park closed. The island has these white stones on the beach along with an amazing collections of shells.

Just to the left were a pair of pelicans enjoying the twilight. Remarkably, there were very few people out on the trail or the beach.
