Maggie and Maggie Monkey

Take one seven year old on Spring vacation for a week visiting her granny. Add one package of how to create a sock monkey and 50 other animals with several pairs of socks. Read carefully the directions. Gather the materials and the embellishments. Cut, sew with the machine, and stitch by hand. Maggie learned how to back stitch and blanket stitch. There is a red bell on her tail and a sparkedly glitter pom pom on the monkey's head. She drew on the nostrils.
If you notice the hands, they are covered in black pastel pencil from drawing.
We also took a break from crafting to plant daylilies, soapwort, and chicken and hens.
