The joy of living in the mountains in the Spring are some of the wonders of the weather. Just a little bit before, I was hanging up the feeders. We had some pretty whippety tucking wind. I noticed the tiny snow flakes on my sweater. The sun was shinning. This photo was taken at 1:00 p.m. right after lunch. Aren't the clouds incredible with the gray opening to the blue sky?
These are the woods next to our yard. May apples are coming up everywhere. A few ferns are unfurling their fronds. There is a rabbit that comes over frequently from here. We have seen a deer in the yard, but the most common wildlife is the squirrels.
