Wire Wrapping

We had a delightful time with Rowan Rose on Monday. She taught me how to wire wrap a gemstone, make S hooks, and wire wrap beads. The stone is a mahogany jasper.
We used copper wire in a variety of flat, square, and round wires.
The bail was also made of copper wire.
Now to attempt to wrap a few of the glass pieces coming out of the kiln.
Got some new adventurine glass in blue and green. So many sparkles it will rival the spring starry sky.
Rowan teaches at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts. It is an amazing school and I enrolled in a glass class for May 15. You might want to check it out: http://www.lapidaryschool.org/
