Penzance,Cornwall

From Tintagel, we drove and navigated to Penzance. Yes, there were pirates along this coast many years ago. Who knows, there maybe the ghosts of pirates still in these blue waters. We parked the car in long term parking which was right behind the people in the boats. These were all women in the two boats. I liked the fact that one boat was named Mermaid. Beyond the stone wall is the sea.

We walked along the wharf trying to find the company that I had booked the sea trip around the Cornwall coast. It was very easy to find. The sun was beginning to fade. The wind was whipping up a bit. Just right for sailing, these small boats were in abundance.

The tower of the Cathedral of Penzance seems to know exactly what is going on. Beyond the Dry Dock is a pub that is supposed to be one of the best in Penzance. It was so crowded, we were not able to verify this. We did eat at a Pub called Long Boat just around the corner from the B&B. The chef came to our table and provided us with fresh food made to order. Grilled chicken, lots of vegetables, and fresh bread. Walking back, we found a laundromat, now that in itself if a story.
