Gemstones and Winter Grass

Last week a friend gave me the copper piece and asked me to make her a necklace using blues, purples, and other gemstones.
She really likes copper, so I used copper jewelry wire. The gemstones are nice size nuggets of fluorite, tourmaline, teardrop shape turquoise, and two rose quartz beads. The necklace almost seems to glow with the colors of a summer day at the beach.
As the black birds fly across the horizon heading for home, the puffy white clouds are tinged pink. Twilight is settling changing everything in the mountains to a soft light.
