Butterfly Glass and Flowers

Rain, floods, tornadoes, snow, and winds are just some of the weather flying through the mountains this week. While taking a brisk walk around the yard, I thought I would share a photo of this nice clump of tiny daffodils.

Near the edge of the woods is a small faery garden. The hyacinths are just now opening up. After the drop in temperature, it maybe a few more days before the rest of them open.

While waiting for spring, I created some new glass plates. I used copper foil butterflies in this four inch plate. The top layer is called streaky glass with stringers and confetti. The bottom layer is an irridenscence jewel tone color. I also made a pendant and earrings with butterflies.
