Yellow Swallowtail Butterfly

A friend was hosting a free conference this week. She asked us to find information out about the state we lived. I found out that the Yellow Swallowtail Butterfly is the state insect.
The butterfly is feeding on hoary mint a wild mint found on the edge of the yard.
The rain has stopped and the temperatures are still soaring. Farmer's markets are filled with fresh vegetables from tomatoes, to beans, to squash, to corn, and all sorts  of nature's bounty.
